Styckyd began as an idea to eliminate much of the headaches automotive enthusiasts experience when buying from online retailers and has morphed into a service that allows those enthusiasts to share information and buy/sell automotive parts in a way unlike any other classifieds system as it's designed specifically for their needs.

We want to make it easier to buy or sell automotive parts and modified cars on the internet. There are many problems that need to be solved to create a marketplace that is useful and meets the needs of fellow gearheads.

We noticed that as our friends became busier they spent less time searching for parts to modify their cars and finding parts is still a long and tedious process. Researching for days or weeks on forums and then spending days or weeks looking for a good price and having to e-mail dozens of speed shops to find out if there's any availability. There must be a better way. We're going to create it.
